Lassie is the main character and protagonist of the Lassie franchise.
Lassie is a female Rough Collie who first appeared in the book Lassie Come-Home written by Eric Knight and published in 1940. Lassie appears in many other works including various books, movies and television series.

Lassie is a female Rough Collie. She is medium sized and long furred, with her fur occurring in various colours. Including light brown on her face and muzzle, with dark brown/black on her head, ears, back, sides and back legs, and white fur on her stomach, front legs and neck.
Personality[]
Lassie is extremely intelligent and is fully capable of following commands and problem solving. She is very loyal and protective to those she knows and loves.
